  • Publication number: 20160318281
Abstract: A porous film is excellent in barrier properties such as blood barrier property and viral barrier property, puncture strength, and moisture permeability. A waterproof and moisture-permeable material that uses the porous film, and reduces the stuffy feeling that a person feels when wearing it and is excellent in the wearing comfortableness. The porous film has a degree of moisture permeability greater than or equal to 150 g/m2·h, a puncture strength is greater than or equal to 100 N/mm, and a blood barrier property is class 4 or higher.

  • Patent number: 9279202
Abstract: The invention relates to a needle-punched nonwoven fabric wherein short fibers of polylactic acid containing an epoxy compound account for 20 to 40 mass % while short fibers of polyethylene terephthalate account for 80 to 60 mass %, the metsuke (weight per unit surface area) being 100 to 200 g/m2, and the tensile strength per metsuke at 20° C. being 0.30 to 0.60 (N/cm)/(g/m2) in the longitudinal direction and 0.48 to 0.90 (N/cm)/(g/m2) in the lateral direction. The present invention provides needle-punched nonwoven fabrics that are low in environment load, high enough in durability to serve as interior finishing material for automobiles, and high in stretchability during molding.

  • Publication number: 20150038035
Abstract: Provided is a fabric having a ground weave to which a hygroscopic polymer is fixed, and the fabric generates heat under moisture absorbing conditions and provides a more comfortable feeling to a person by temperature drop in moisture desorption conditions. A fiber structure is prepared by fixing a hygroscopic polymer to fibers of the fabric, and the front layer on the front surface side and the back layer on the back surface side have different fiber densities where the boundary between the front layer and the back layer is on the center line of a cross section of the fiber structure.
