  • Publication number: 20100042084
Abstract: A laser treatment apparatus is provided with a treatment probe, an observation probe, an image processing section, a lesion disappearance degree judgment section, and a CPU. The treatment probe and the observation probe are disposed in a catheter inserted into a blood vessel. The observation probe scans an inner wall of the blood vessel to obtain a tomographic image signal therefrom. The image processing section produces a tomographic image from the tomographic image signal. The lesion disappearance degree judgment section analyzes the tomographic image and judges whether or not a lesion exists. The CPU controls radiation of a laser beam from the treatment probe based on a judgment result of the lesion disappearance degree judgment section.

  • Patent number: 7119821
Abstract: In a color thermal printer, printing units for each color image are disposed along transporting path of recording sheet. In each printing unit, a thermal head and a platen roller are provided. Recording sheet is pressed on the thermal head by the platen roller and thermal head executes heat recording on recording sheet. The platen roller is provided with a pulse encoder for detecting transporting speed fluctuation amount thereof. Sheet transporting correction quantity is determined from a relation with the transporting speed fluctuation amount. The sheet transporting correction quantity is serially accumulated for the length of the recoding area, to correct recording start position of the color image to print next. Therefore, occurrence of registration deviation caused from heat deformation of the platen roller is suppressed, thereby to obtain high quality printing.

  • Patent number: 6982738
Abstract: In the first print sequence, recording paper is conveyed in a printing direction. When the recording paper is conveyed to a target conveyance amount during the conveyance, a yellow image is printed. Then, the return sequence is performed. While conveying the recording paper in a supplying direction, ultraviolet rays is irradiated on the recording paper to fix a yellow image. During the fixing operation, the recording paper is returned by additionally considering the correction amount of conveyance according to the conveyance speed. In the return sequence, the recording paper is conveyed to the target conveyance amount to print a magenta image. Then the magenta image is fixed in the second return sequence. The recording paper is set in consideration of the conveyance speed during fixing the magenta image. After that, a cyan image is printed. Consequently, the printing position of each primary color becomes coincident.

  • Patent number: 6922205
Abstract: The printer has a conveyor roller pair and three thermal heads to record yellow, magenta and cyan images onto a recording sheet. The conveyor roller pair receives forward tension Ff from the forward tension roller pairs located near the thermal heads to pull the recording sheet with tension. A backward tension roller pair is provided to generate backward tension Fb to cancel forward tension Ff so that the recording sheet is conveyed at a stable conveyance speed. The coefficient of friction between the thermal head and the recording sheet is varied depending on the temperature, humidity and so force. Backward tension Fb is equal to Ef·? in consideration of the correction value ? to correct variation in the coefficient of friction.

  • Publication number: 20040189783
Abstract: A color thermal recording material is fed by a feed roller pair having a capstan roller and a pinch roller along a feeding path at a speed as a basis of thermal recording. Along the feeding path, a yellow, a magenta and a cyan thermal heads are disposed to sequentially print a yellow, a magenta and a cyan images within a recording area of the color thermal recording material. The interval between the thermal heads is a multiple of an integer of circumferential length (&pgr;d) of the capstan roller. The feeding speed of the recording paper changes periodically due to the fine unevenness of the circumference of the capstan roller and eccentric shaft. Since the phase in the feeding speed of the color thermal recording material becomes coincident at each thermal head against the periodical fluctuation, deviation of color registration is prevented.

  • Patent number: 6641314
Abstract: A color thermal printer has a feed roller set, a thermal head, and a tension roller set that are serially arranged along a transporting path. The feed roller set and the tension roller set are rotated by respectively a stepping motor and a DC motor. The stepping motor rotates forwards. Simultaneously, the DC motor rotates the tension roller set forwards, to apply a first transporting force to the continuous recording sheet at a level higher than a predetermined transporting force of the feed roller set. Also, the stepping motor rotates backwards. Simultaneously, the DC motor rotates the tension roller set backwards, to apply a second transporting force to the continuous recording sheet at a level lower than the predetermined transporting force.

  • Patent number: 6461065
Abstract: A printer is provided with a path size switching plate (10) between a recording paper roll and an aligning device (15) for aligning a recording paper with a paper transport path. The path size switching plate limits the paper transport path in a direction of thickness of the recording paper while the recording paper is being conveyed in a paper supply direction, preventing the recording paper from getting jammed. While the recording paper stops and the aligning device pushes opposite side edges of the recording paper for alignment, the path size switching plate widen the paper transport path in the direction of thickness of the recording paper, so as to make a loop for absorbing torsion applied to the recording paper between the recording paper roll and the aligning device as a result of alignment.

  • Patent number: 6412992
Abstract: An aligning device is provided in a paper transport path in a printer, for correcting a recording paper to be parallel to the paper transport path. The aligning device has a pair of guide members (17, 18) that are shifted in a lateral direction to the paper transport path by a drive mechanism (21), to push side edges of the recording paper, and a stopping plate (19) for stopping the guide members at an aligning position. The drive mechanism is constituted of a cam shaft (28) rotated by an aligning motor, a pair of swing levers (29, 30) for converting rotational movement of the cam shaft into swinging movement, and a pair of sliding levers (31, 32) that slide in the lateral direction with the swinging movement of the swing levers. The guide members are mounted on pivot pins (31d, 32d) of the sliding levers, so the guide members may incline relative to the parallel direction to the paper transport path.

  • Patent number: 6318918
Abstract: A thermal printer is loaded with a recording sheet package. The recording sheet package has a packaging body, which contains a stack of plural recording sheets. A loading engaging cutout is formed in the packaging body, and when the packaging body is set in an acceptable orientation relative to the printer, is engaged with a loading guiding projection of the printer, and allows mounting the packaging body on the printer. When the packaging body is set in an orientation different from the acceptable orientation, the loading guiding projection inhibits the packaging body by interference from being mounted on the printer.
