  • Publication number: 20200193991
Abstract: An image processing system includes: a touch sensor that receives a manual operation by an operator; a voice input device that obtains voice inputted by an operator and converts the inputted voice into voice data; a voice recognizer that recognizes voice from the voice data and outputs a recognition result; and an image forming apparatus that comprises a hardware processor that: executes processing associated in advance with the recognition result; and determines whether the manual operation is being received, and disables the inputted voice upon determining that the manual operation is being received.

  • Patent number: 10440203
Abstract: A display includes a display unit, an image sensor that takes an image of a predetermined area and outputs the taken image, and a hardware processor that detects the marker in the taken image, generates differential color information between color data of the marker in the taken image and color data of the marker in the print image data, displays a virtual object which reproduces the print image data in the display unit, sets an object adjustment value for adjusting a color tone of the virtual object displayed on the display unit based on the differential color information, and calculates a print adjustment value for adjusting a color tone reproduced by the image forming apparatus based on the object adjustment value.

  • Patent number: 10069988
Abstract: An image forming apparatus capable of ensuring a log when a malfunction has occurred in an operation panel, without affecting working performance of the image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a volatile memory, an operation device, and a processor. The volatile memory accumulates a log of actions of each function and has a volatile property. The operation device receives user operations performed by a user. The processor is configured to determine whether a user operation pattern based on a series of the user operations within a certain period of time received by the operation device satisfies a predetermined condition or not. Then, when the user operation pattern satisfies the predetermined condition, the processor is configured to store the log accumulated in the volatile memory into a nonvolatile memory having a nonvolatile property.

  • Patent number: 9819822
Abstract: Disclosed is an image forming system including: an image forming apparatus comprising a wireless communication unit; and a terminal device for transmitting a print job to the image forming apparatus, wherein the wireless communication unit executes a wave radio intensity setting process in which the wireless communication unit transmits a received signal intensity request at a predetermined radio wave intensity, receives information from the terminal device, which indicates a received signal intensity at a timing of receiving the received signal intensity request, and sets a radio wave intensity of a radio wave to be transmitted by the wireless communication unit to a set value which is lowered within a range in which the image forming apparatus is communicable with the terminal device in which the received signal intensity indicated in the information is lowest, and the image forming apparatus executes the print job received from the terminal device.
