When the insert portion is inserted into the insertion hole, the collar portion and the chassis clamp at least one light emitting board that is positioned in contact with the chassis, and the thickness of the collar portion is set to be equal to or less than an amount of protrusion of a light emitting portion formed protrudingly from the light emitting board.

Abstract: An iris drive mechanism has two slidable diaphragms which are operatively connected with a motor through a lever arrangement which, for a given motor output shaft rotational speed moves the diaphragms slowly at their extreme positions wherein the aperture is small and large respectively, and more quickly at an intermediate stage. The slower movement when the aperture is small improves the F number resolution.

Abstract: A tape recording apparatus is capable of operation in either a normal recording mode or a high band recording mode. Detecting holes to indicate whether a tape cassette loaded into the recording apparatus is designed for the normal recording mode or the high band recording mode are formed in the tape cassette. The kind of cassette is detected from the detecting holes, and the high band recording mode or the normal recording mode is automatically set in accordance with the kind of tape cassette detected. The automatic setting can be selectively cancelled, however, in which case the recording can be executed in the normal recording mode even if a tape cassette designed for the high band recording mode has been loaded into the recording apparatus.
