  • Patent number: 6907128
Abstract: A noise canceling apparatus (1) comprises an amplifier (10) for amplifying a measured signal (ms) outputted from a measuring device (3), an analog filter (11), an ADC (12), a digital filter (14), a coefficient control section (13), and a data input section (15). The digital filter (14) is a notch filter for attenuating a frequency component of a quantitative signal D(n) outputted from the ADC (12) at a plurality of notches (stop bands). A transfer function of the digital filter (14) is expressed by the product of a plurality of factors each having a root that corresponds to each one of the plurality of notches. The coefficient control section (13) changes a frequency component of a root corresponding to a notch selected from the plurality of notches, and thereafter, expands in a polynomial the transfer function of the reconstructed digital filter (14). On the basis of the polynomial thereby obtained, a new series of filter coefficients is calculated.

  • Patent number: 6683261
Abstract: The combination weighing apparatus is an apparatus that conducts combination weighing of articles based upon weight data from a plurality of weight hoppers, and is comprised of a plurality of supply buckets that supply articles to any of a plurality of weighing hoppers, a rotation mechanism that rotates the supply buckets so that they move along an arrangement of the weighing hoppers in a weighing area, and a control computer. The control computer controls the supply of articles from the supply buckets inside the weighing area to the weighing buckets, and from amongst the plurality of weighing hoppers that request a supply of articles, priority is given to the weighing buckets that are downstream in the direction of rotation, and article supply takes place.

  • Patent number: 4647010
Abstract: A combined torque motor and rotary flow control valve unit (10) incorporating a torque motor (12) and a rotary flow control valve (14). The unit (10) includes an enclosure member (70) surrounding a rotor (38) of the torque motor (12) and fluid-tightly isolating the stationary part (18) of the torque motor from a sealed chamber (96) defined within the enclosure member (70) to prevent fluid leakage. Preferably, the chamber (96) in the enclosure member (70) is communicated with a fluid inlet (56) of the valve (14) to counterbalance fluid pressures acting on a rotary flow control member (54) of the valve, thereby eliminating any axial thrust that would otherwise be exerted on the rotary flow control member due to the fluid pressure acting thereon in one direction.
