  • Publication number: 20170230786
Abstract: A system for tracking locations of a plurality of associated registered user devices within a vicinity of a location of a target registered user device held by a person in distress during an emergency situation is disclosed. The system includes a memory unit and a processor that executes a set of modules that includes a relative distance calculation module 306, a vicinity graph module 308, and a selected associated registered user information communication module 312. The relative distance calculation module 306 calculates the distances between the plurality of associated registered user devices within the vicinity of the target registered user device 104. The vicinity graph module 308 generates a graphical representation of the vicinity map showing the target registered user device 104 location, locations of the plurality of associated registered users, and the distance between the target registered user device 104 and the plurality of associated registered users.

  • Publication number: 20170230794
Abstract: A system enabling children for communicating with parent and friend through a wearable device is enclosed. The system includes a memory unit and a processor that executes a set of modules that includes an information exchange module 304, a digit code generation module 306, and a voice message transfer module 308. The information exchange module 304 exchanges and transfers information between the first child wearable device 104 and the second child wearable device 114 when the first child 102 chooses to add the second child 116 within a close proximity, to a contact list of the first child wearable device 104. The digit code generation module 310 generates a random digit code when the first child 102 chooses to add the second child 116 in a remote location, to the contact list of the first child wearable device 104.

  • Publication number: 20140172294
Abstract: The embodiment provides a method for predicting Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) of an object. The method includes tracking location data of the object and estimating time of arrival of the object based on the location data and historic data of one or more objects. Further, the method includes determining whether the object reached a predefined area based on the location data of the object and sending a notification about the ETA of the object to a remote entity upon determining that the object reached the predefined area.

  • Patent number: 7958584
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring a size of a load in a basket that is rotatably supported is presented. The method comprises determining an acceleration energy (AE) required to accelerate the basket; determining a friction energy (FE) required to maintain a stable rotational speed of the basket; subtracting the friction energy (FE) from the acceleration energy (AE) to obtain a load inertial energy (LE); and determining a load size from the load inertial energy (LE).
