  • Patent number: 9169961
Abstract: A lifting apparatus of surgery comprises a vertical post, a horizontal arm, a rack slider and a vertical rack. One end of vertical post is mounted on a surgical table; and the other end is to be slid on and pivoted by the horizontal arm. The horizontal arm includes a hole to slide and pivot on vertical post, a shaft to be slid on by rack slider and a fastening means to secure horizontal arm on vertical post. The rack slider includes a hole to slide on a shaft of horizontal arm, and a lifting mechanism to engage with vertical rack. The vertical rack includes a rack to engage with lifting mechanism of rack slider and an adaptor to couple with a distension instrument. First clamp vertical post on a surgical table. Then slide and secure horizontal arm on vertical post to desired position. Following slide rack slider on horizontal arm to desired position such as above patient's abdominal wall.

  • Patent number: 8915847
Abstract: A retractor holder comprises a body poration, a retractor locking portion and a support ring mating portion. The retractor handle can be inserted through a compatible opening bore extending through body portion. The locking portion has a spring-loaded pawl where the leading edge of pawl can mate with teeth of the retractor handle to lock the retractor handle in a fixed position. The mating portion has a slot with an opening on the opposite surface from the leading edge of the pawl to slide onto the support ring. To improve the problem that prior art retractor holders can not rotate an angle on the support ring, a plurality of dowel pins are set in the slot of the support ring mating portion. Thus, the retractor holder can rotate an angle and keep at least one dowel pin to engage with an indentation on support ring.

  • Patent number: 8460002
Abstract: A surgical training device for the practice of surgical techniques comprises a base and a face wall extending from a side of said base such to block direct visualization of the operation area from the normal external position of the eyes of the trainee using the device. The face wall comprises a front wall and an upper wall. The front wall is extended upwardly from the base; the upper wall is then extended upwardly and inwardly from the front wall. A flexible membrane is stretched on upper wall and has at least two portals such that adaptors can be inserted on flexible membrane. The adaptors are further fitted with stoppers to prevent adaptors been pulled out from the membrane during training. The surgical instruments can pass through the openings of adaptors to manipulate simulated tissue or another operable structure on the base. A plain spherical bearing set, including a bearing seat and a plain spherical bearing, is also installed on said upper wall.
