Abstract: Apparatus for extending the range of effective communication of high speed digital video data between remote devices, such as a microprocessor and a flat panel display, having associated connectors. A fiber optic cable comprising a single optical fiber provides a shared optical path for signal transmission between the connectors. Electrooptic converters are provided for converting the electrical signals sent and received by each of the connectors to optical form for transmission over the single-fiber cable.

Abstract: A sun shield cover for the vehicle and the like is formed from a round-shaped and lightweight plastic sheet with an apron around the side. An elastic wire is sewn around to support the round shape. After one pushes the round shape into an oval one, two non-elastic plastic belts are used to keep the oval shape. An thin elastic wire is used to raise the central part of the oval-shaped shield to an umbrella shape. Two ear-shaped belts on the side of the shield are connected to the elastic fixing belt to fix the whole shield onto the top of the vehicle.

Abstract: The lighting pen is a writing instrument with an illuminating device for the user to be able to write in the dark. It is composed of two major compartments, the head and battery compartments. The head compartment includes a pen point which is integrated with the ink cartridge, transparent plastic shell, lens, cylinder cover, light bulb, and on/off switch. The battery compartment is made of electrical conducting material which contains two batteries.
