Abstract: The present invention disclosed herein is an illumination unit and a fixing bracket thereof. The illumination unit according to the present invention includes an illumination lamp and a fluorescent lighting fixture, which are combined in a body. The illumination unit comprises: the illumination lamp configured to include a sealed tube having a predetermined length and two auxiliary tubes, wherein the two auxiliary tubes are successively formed adjacent to both ends of the tubes, and include an electrode and a couple of connection pins, which are respectively formed inside and outside thereof; and the fluorescent lighting fixture configured to include a board of a predetermined configuration and a housing combined with the board by a combination means, wherein the auxiliary tubes are fixed at both ends of the board by a holder.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fluorescent lamp apparatus. The fluorescent lamp apparatus includes a main lamp tube emitting light, a subsidiary lamp tube disposed in communication with the main lamp tube, an external electrode provided to the subsidiary lamp tube, a connection terminal contacting the external electrode such that electric power is applied to the external electrode through the connection terminal, and an insulation cap receiving the connection terminal. The fluorescent lamp apparatus includes the external electrode exposed to the outside, so that installation and separation of the fluorescent lamp can be conveniently achieved.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fluorescent lamp. The fluorescent lamp is constituted by main tubes, subsidiary tubes having electrodes, and connection tubes each connecting the main tube to the subsidiary tube. Specifically, the fluorescent lamp includes a first stage main tube part having a first main tube, a second stage main tube part communicating with the first stage main tube part and having second and third main tubes, and a third stage subsidiary tube part communicating with the second stage main tube part and having first and second subsidiary tubes each having an electrode.

Abstract: A power line communication apparatus, device control apparatus, and device control method are disclosed. By controlling the phase of AC power with reference to a zero cross point during power line communication, the power line communication apparatus enables not only data to be transmitted and received in a manner robust against noise and impedance but also the receiving end to be miniaturized. The power and operation of household devices can be controlled through the power line communication apparatus, thereby eliminating the need for separate communication networks when a remote control system is built in the home.
