Based on the monitoring, at least one correction of the communication link is performed during transmission of an acknowledgement of a receipt of the data packet by the first device to the second device.

A packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) window is transmitted from a first base station to a second base station. An acknowledgement of a successful transmission of the data packet from the second base station to the user equipment is received. The second base station determines a second time for the successful transmission of the data packet from the second base station to the user equipment based on the received PDCP window. The computer processor is configured to inspect a data packet to determine an application type of the data packet, determine a delay tolerance associated with the data packet based on the determined application type, determine a channel condition of a communication session with the user device, move the data packet from the first buffer to the second buffer based on the determined delay tolerance and the determined channel condition, and transmit data packets stored in the second buffer.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a silicon nanostructured material with theoretical storage capacity of energy resulting from electrochemical reaction with lithium improved more than 10 times as compared to the existing graphite material and having superior output characteristics, an electrode including the same, and a secondary battery and an electrochemical capacitor including the electrode as a negative electrode. The physical stability of the electrode active material is improved and an electrode with high performance can be obtained. Since more energy can be stored as compared to the graphite material of the same thickness and high-output performance can be achieved through the nanostructure, energy density can be remarkably improved as compared to the existing lithium-ion battery by about 2 times. An asymmetric lithium-ion secondary battery including the electrode active material is applicable to storage of renewable energy, ubiquitous power source, power supply for machinery and vehicles, or the like.
