  • Publication number: 20240068955
Abstract: Apparatus for inspecting components having at least one top surface, a plurality of lateral surfaces to be inspected and/or edges of the lateral surfaces, the apparatus having at least one pick-up tool, arranged on a turning device, for in each case one of the components, which pick-up tool is intended and set up to pick up the respective component on its top surface, the turning device being intended and set up to rotate the component with the pick-up tool in a turning plane along a transport path about a turning axis, and in the process to convey a component located on the pick-up tool, which component is aligned at an angle to the transport path or the turning plane, into an inspection position, and in the inspection position, as an optical component inspection device, to convey a component located on the pick-up tool, which component is aligned at an angle to the transport path or the turning plane, into an inspection position, and a first and a second imaging device are arranged at an angle to one anothe

  • Patent number: 11856705
Abstract: A device for handling components that is designed and equipped to handle components with multiple lateral surfaces and/or edges of the lateral surfaces. The device has at least one receiving tool, which is arranged on a turning device, for a respective component of the components, where the receiving tool is designed and equipped to receive the respective component on one of the component cover surfaces. The turning device is designed and equipped to rotate the receiving tool on a turning plane about a turning axis, and in the process optionally convey a component located on the receiving tool from a receiving position to one or more orientation positions, optionally one or more inspecting positions, a setting-down position, and optionally an ejecting position. The device also has a holding and supplying device, which faces the receiving position, for a component supply, and a discharge device.

  • Patent number: 10347514
Abstract: A component-handling device for removing components from a structured component supply and for storing the removed components at a reception device, where the reception device is newly adjusted after being initially put into operation after the replacement of device components or after maintenance work, in order to comply with the precision requirements when handling the components. The component-handling device has a self-adjustment device which permits it to adjust the device efficiently in terms of time and with high precision without manual intervention by an operator. The self-adjustment device is composed of a multiplicity of optical sensors and a controller. Adaptation of the measurement results acquired by means of the optical sensors using position sensors and property sensors installed originally for component inspection during fabrication gives rise to a high degree of process reliability and at the same time permits device components to be inspected for damage.
