    Abstract: A fly swatter includes head that slides between a deployed position and a stored position, and a multi-filament element secured to the head for sliding therewith between said positions. In the deployed position, the multi-filament element fans out naturally from the top of the head in two dimensions, and is substantially flat in the third dimension. In the stored position, the head and multi-filament element are hidden within a housing.
