    Abstract: A surgical planning system may be configured to predict a relationship between two or more bones, including adjoining and/or non-adjoining bones of a patient. The system may be configured to select a representative bone model associated with a bone in response to comparing the representative bone model to a patient bone model associated with the bone of a patient. The system may be configured to determine at least one patient characteristic based on a relationship of the representative and/or patient bone model to another bone model, which may be associated with an adjoining or non-adjoining bone. A method of planning a surgical procedure is also disclosed.
