Abstract: An inline frame application receives an identifier that is specific to a request to obtain information associated with an item and code usable to generate an object within a browser application. The inline frame application transmits a request to an item information application to obtain the information associated with the item. In response to the request, the inline frame application obtains the information and data generated based at least in part on the information and the identifier. The inline frame application determines, based at least in part on the obtained data, that the information associated with the item is authentic. As a result, the inline frame application transmits the code and the information to a user interface of the browser application to generate the object.

Abstract: Embodiments are described for implementing a contextual browsing assistant service. In accordance with at least one embodiment, event data comprising content being presented via an interface of a system may be obtained. First information about the content may be extracted from the event data. In embodiments, the first information about the content may be extracted utilizing a content extractor. An item included in the first information may be identified based on a comparison of the first information and second information that identifies a plurality of items offered by an electronic marketplace. In an embodiment, third information about the identified item may be presented via the interface.
