    Abstract: A device for conducting scientific experiments in space has a housing having dimensions of about 100×100×150 mm or smaller. Within the housing is an electronic processor, a camera, and a chamber for containing living or non-living test subjects. A mirror is positioned next to the chamber so that the camera lens can view both a face of the chamber, and the mirror, which reflects a side of the chamber. The chamber can additionally include sensors and a fan controlled by the processor to change conditions within the housing based upon sensor data.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a three-dimensional cell culture system which can be used to culture a variety of different cells (Human mesenchymal stem cells, Human fibroblast, Keratinocytes, fibroblast differentiated form mesenchymal stem cells in vitro and keratinocytes differentiated form mesenchymal stem cells in vitro) in vitro for continued periods of time. In the present invention, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from bone marrow or umbilical cord are inoculated and grown on a pre-established scaffold or matrix made up of chitosan and gelatin. The developed tissue constructs contain cells, growth factors, cytokines and other regulatory factors secreted by cells. The developed bioengineered tissue constructs provide the support, growth factors and essential cytokines for wound healing. Developed tissue construct useful in the treatment of burns wound, diabetic foot ulcer wound and type of chronic skin wounds. It is helpful in healing and regeneration of skin tissue.

The composition is used as a topical device for the treatment of compromised tissues in its preferred embodiment.

    Abstract: A wireless communication device (UE) conducting wireless communications according to a specified radio access technology (RAT) in a first communications band belonging to a first network may be required to switch to a different communications band due to network restrictions and/or radio link failure. The UE may therefore perform a system scan identifying other communications bands associated with the first RAT and available at the present location of the UE. The UE may identify whether the other communications bands include preferred communications bands belonging to the first network, support a service associated with the wireless communications of the UE, and have an energy level higher than a specified threshold. If one or more preferred communications bands are present, the UE may switch communications from the first communications band to one of the preferred communications bands, even if it doesn't have the highest energy level among all the other communications bands.
