  • Publication number: 20180209930
Abstract: The present invention relates to a detection module. It uses a polycrystalline film underneath a porous sensing film to simultaneously contact with hydrogen peroxide having various concentrations, and the surface potential of materials of the polycrystalline film and the porous sensing film will be changed and resulting in voltage shift, which can be used to determine the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. Accordingly, the present invention can be applied to screen hydrogen peroxide related diseases as an auxiliary tool.

  • Patent number: 9829478
Abstract: A detection module and a method for operating the same are revealed. A nano-scale iridium oxide membrane is used as a detection film. After being in contact with different concentrations of hydrogen peroxide, the iridium oxide membrane is oxidized or reduced to generate iridium (III) ions (Ir3+) or iridium (IV) ions (Ir4+). Thus a voltage shift is generated. Whether hydrogen peroxide is contained in the sample can be checked by detection of changes in the voltage. A sample is formed by mixing serum and benzylamine. When the serum in the sample contains LOXL2 enzyme associated with breast cancer, the LOXL2 enzyme reacts with benzylamine to get hydrogen peroxide which is used as a detection medium.

  • Publication number: 20170199146
Abstract: The present invention relates to a prostate screening module and the method for operating the same. It uses nanometer-grade nickel oxide as the screening film. By contacting nickel oxide with hydrogen peroxide having various concentrations, the surface potential of nickel oxide will be changed and resulting in voltage shift, which can be used to judge the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. The sample for screening is urine or blood serum. After the sarcosine in urine or blood serum is oxidized and forming hydrogen peroxide, the content of sarcosine in the sample can be deduced by means of the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and nickel oxide. Accordingly, the possibility of prostate cancer can be evaluated.

  • Publication number: 20170141306
Abstract: The present invention relates to a memory structure, which includes a dielectric layer between the top and bottom electrodes and further includes an iridium oxide film between the top electrode and the dielectric layer. With the iridium oxide film, the number of the metal particles in the electrodes diffusing to the dielectric layer in ion form or the number of oxygen vacancies in the memory can be controlled. Thereby, the operating voltage/current of the memory can be lowered and switching uniformity/reliability will be improved.

  • Patent number: 9595565
Abstract: The present invention relates to a memory structure, which is a kind of resistive memory. A middle layer formed by a first dielectric film and a second dielectric film is included between the top and bottom electrodes. The material of the top electrode is iridium oxide. Thereby, preferred oxygen vacancy filament paths can be provided and thus exhibiting complementary resistive switching of memory arrays. Furthermore, the memory structure can be applied to biological tests.
