  • Patent number: 5274383
Abstract: The arrangement includes N inputs each having an input signal thereon from a different one of N groups of elements of a phased antenna array, where N is an even integer greater than one and where the array is pointed only at a desired signal source, a first circuit to produce from the input signals M sum signals each having the desired signal received by the array and at least one jammer signal and M difference signals each having only the jammer signal, where M is an integer, and a second circuit responsive to each of the M sum signals and at least a selected one of the M difference signals to produce a resultant output signal having the desired signal with the jammer signal eliminated or at least greatly reduced.

  • Patent number: 4034941
Abstract: A bar magnet is suspended by torsion wires and a ring inside a spherical frame rigidly attached to the space vehicle. The frame is filled with a damping fluid and damping domes are attached to each end of the bar magnet. The damping fluid and damping domes cooperate in damping or resisting angular motion between the bar magnet and the frame.

  • Patent number: 4013960
Abstract: A first hybrid circuit receives a RF carrier signal and provides two equal amplitude in phase RF carrier signals each phase modulated in a different phase modulator by a different digital baseband signal. The two resultant modulated signals provide input signals to a fourport hybrid circuit. This hybrid circuit produces a difference signal and a sum signal from the two input signals. The difference signal is phase shifted a predetermined amount in a fixed phase shift device. The phase shifted difference signal and the sum signal are combined in a second hybrid circuit to provide a quadraphase output signal which is coupled to a transmitting antenna through a hard limiting amplifier.

  • Patent number: 3987452
Abstract: A first column is secured to and extends vertically upward from a base. The first column has a first socket on the end thereof remote from the base. An intermediate member having first and second balls extending therefrom in opposite directions along a common axis is disposed to have the first ball rotatably engage the first socket. A second column having a second socket on one end thereof is disposed so that the second ball rotatably engages the second socket. An antenna structure is secured to the other end of the second column. A drive arrangement including a plurality of perforated tapes coupled in a predetermined manner to the intermediate member, the base, the first and second columns and the antenna structure provides the complete hemispherical coverage by the antenna structure.
