  • Patent number: 8882022
Abstract: A cable carrying assembly includes a spool made from a first flange region, drum portion and a second flange region where each of the first flange region, drum portion and a second flange region are integrally molded as a single polymer unit. The drum portion is molded as a hollow drum for supporting a cable. The first flange region includes at least two openings and a handle receiving region and the handle has a grip portion, two stems each with a latch knob. The stems and knobs of the handle are inserted into the at least two openings on the first flange region of the drum and lock into place via the knobs, such that the grip portion of the handle is arrangeable in a first open position with the grip portion substantially perpendicular to the first flange regions and a second closed position with the grip portion folded down about the articulated joints, into the handle receiving region of the first flange region.

  • Patent number: 8256701
Abstract: A stand for delivering coiled cable has first and second side elements, each of which has a wide flat base portion and a tall central column. First and second bottom braces are configured to connect the first and second side elements near the flat base portions. A third handle brace is configured to connect the first and second side elements near the tall central columns. A shaft is configured to be positioned between the first and second side elements, with the shaft configured to receive a cable spool, such that when the spool is positioned on the shaft between the first and second sides, cable from the spool may be allowed to be removed from the spool by spinning the spool on the shaft. The cable can not exit the spool and fall between the outside of the spool and the insides of the first and second side elements.

  • Patent number: 8124875
Abstract: An electrical power cable includes a conductor core having at least two insulated phase conductors twisted together and a binder tape configured to cover the twisted conductor core. A bare aluminum grounding conductor is laid longitudinally outside the binder tape, along the length of the conductor core and a metal armor is disposed around the grounding conductor and conductor core defining a metal armor for the electrical power cable.

  • Publication number: 20110239553
Abstract: A method is provided for installing wire at an installation including delineating a wire run for installing at least one wire within the installation and identifying at least one first portion of the wire run requiring a metal protection for the wire and at least one second portion of the wire run not-requiring a metal protection for the wire, where the first portion includes at least one non-linear segment. For the first portion, at least one continuously welded corrugated flexible metal tube is installed for the first portion, where at the non-linear segment the corrugated flexible metal tubing is manually bent to fit a path of the wire run. A wire is installed through the first and second portions of the wire run, where during the portions of the wire run in the at least one first portion, the wire is passed through the corrugated flexible metal tubing.
