  • Publication number: 20150011009
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for determining the calorific value parameter describing the calorific value of a gaseous fuel. The apparatus comprises a test burner with a test combustion chamber. An air ratio sensor is arranged in an exhaust gas duct of the test burner and measures an air ratio signal that corresponds to the air ratio of the exhaust gas. As a function of the received air ratio signal, at least one setting signal is generated for a test supply unit via a test control unit. The setting signal controls the amount and/or the proportion of a gaseous fuel or an oxygen-containing gas that is supplied to the test combustion chamber. A calorific value sensor arrangement is provided in the combustion chamber and has an ionization sensor and, a temperature sensor. The sensor signal of the calorific value sensor is transmitted to a determination unit.

  • Publication number: 20140053928
Abstract: In a double seat valve (12), two preferably equally identical valve closure members (18, 20), said members being equally rigidly connected to another, and two preferably equally identical valve seats (19, 21) are provided. The first valve closure member (18) is arranged downstream of the first valve seat (19). The second valve closure member (20) is arranged upstream of the valve seat (21). In doing so, a radially interior sealing zone (37) becomes active on the first valve closure member (18). As opposed to this, a radially exterior sealing zone (38) becomes active on the second valve closure member (20).

  • Patent number: 7347221
Abstract: A valve assembly comprises two valves and a single solenoid actuator with only one magnetizing coil that controls both valves. The corresponding magnetic circuit comprises a yoke with only two pole pieces. The valves are arranged concentric to one another. The valve closing element of the outer valve is connected to an armature by means of a sleeve. The cup thus formed receives the armature that is connected to the valve closing element of the inner valve. The pole piece and the armature form a transmission air gap through which the sleeve extends. A coupling air gap is formed between the armatures. The armature and the pole piece form a working air gap. The valves are opened collectively and are able to close independently of one another when the coil is rendered currentless.

  • Publication number: 20050279956
Abstract: A valve for gaseous media has a single magnetic drive and two valve closure elements assigned to it. These open in close succession when operated by the magnetic drive. A signaler is adjusted to produce a signal between the opening time of the first valve closure element and that of the second valve closure element. This applies both during opening and closing of valve.

  • Patent number: 6814339
Abstract: For a coaxial magnetic valve with an inner valve disk which can move in the axial direction, and with an outer valve disk which surrounds the inner valve disk and which can move in the axial direction, wherein these two valve disks are arranged coaxially to each other and each rises from its corresponding valve seat against the action of a closing spring, and with a magnetic drive for activating both valve disks, the magnetic drive includes two independent magnetic loops which are arranged one above the other in the axial direction, each of which has a coil, and they interact with two armatures which are arranged one above the other in the axial direction and which connect to the inner valve disk or to the outer valve disk, wherein the armature of the outer valve disk is penetrated by a connecting rod connecting the inner valve disk to its armature. With this double magnetic valve, each valve disk can be controlled separately.

  • Patent number: 4936834
Abstract: A method and apparatus from aspirating secreted fliuds from a wound is disclosed which involves the placement of a drain into a wound via the tissue adjacent the wound. After the wound is closed, a secretion aspiration and collection device, which is connected to the drain via a tube, is placed into operation. The device is designed to have a suction effect controlled between a minimum value and a maximum value according to the quantity of secreted fluid to be aspirated. This is achieved by one or more sensors which control a tube pump. When a second sensor is used, the pump will not be shut off by a passing air bubble in the fluid. A sleeve may also be provided to facilitate introduction of the drain into the wound. Additionally, a needle may be detachably connected to the sleeve to aid the insertion of the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4681562
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for aspiration of secreted fluids from a wound by means of a drain that is connected with a container by a tube, in which the container is a negative pressure, which decreases with the flow of secreted fluid, and regenerates from time to time to a selectable value. A closed system formed by the drain, the container and the tube connecting the two is supplemented for this purpose with a collection container and a second tube that connects the collection container with the container. The second tube has at least one section to which a tube pump can be applied. A clamp is provided in the line formed by the second tube between the container and the collection container.

  • Patent number: 4409509
Abstract: The resonance of a piezoelectric vibrating element itself sets the frequency of the excitation producing ac oscillator for e.g. Kelvin probe or chopper applications. The oscillation amplitude is continuously adjustable. The superposition of a dc voltage in addition to the ac excitation voltage renders a continuously adjustment of the mean spacing of the working electrodes. A phase stable reference signal is provided for phase sensitive amplifier synchronization.
