  • Patent number: 10399413
Abstract: A vehicle heating, ventilating and/or air conditioning device (10) comprising a housing (12), in which at least two hot-air guiding ducts (18, 19) are formed for different vehicle interior regions, the hot-air guiding ducts (18, 19) being separated by a housing wall (28). A common heating device (30) and a common air treatment element (32) are provided which are arranged in each case in both hot-air guiding ducts (18, 19), the air treatment element (32) being arranged in the air flow downstream of the heating device (30). The air treatment element (32) has a dividing wall (34) which divides the air treatment element (32) into at least two part regions which are assigned to in each case one hot-air guiding duct (18, 19).

  • Publication number: 20030139132
Abstract: Heating and/or air conditioning unit for a vehicle having a heat exchanger (2, 4), to the outlet side of which a temperature flap (10), a duct which serves, at least in sections, as mixing chamber and/or distributor, an air flow control flap (12) and an air outlet are connected, at least one section of the duct containing a partial air guide duct (22) running essentially parallel in a duct-inside-a-duct arrangement, making it possible to carry a proportion of the heated and/or conditioned air essentially without interference from other air flows.

  • Publication number: 20020129863
Abstract: An air duct, in particular for a motor vehicle heating, ventilating and/or air conditioning system, which is acoustically optimized by virtue of the fact that at least one cross-sectional discontinuity is constructed by making use of a phenomena which occur as acoustic scattering processes at the cross-sectional discontinuity. The cross-sectional discontinuity should extend substantially perpendicular to the flow direction in the air duct.

  • Patent number: 5683495
Abstract: A device for the filtration of an airstream, in particular for a heating and/or air conditioning installation in a motor vehicle. The device provides, on one hand, a filtration that includes as much as possible of the entire airstream, while, on the other hand, for cooling and/or heating purposes, the device provides the entire air-conveying capacity without any air-output losses due to the filtration. The device includes a first outer air-channel containing fixed filter-wall parts of an activated carbon-filter arrangement, and a second inner air-channel containing second filter-wall parts of a particle-filter arrangement. The second filter-wall parts can be pivoted between an opening position which is essentially parallel to the first filter-wall parts and a closure position. Also included is a closure device at the exit of the outer air-channel, such that in the closure position, the entire airstream is conveyed at least through the filter-wall parts.
