  • Publication number: 20220408646
Abstract: Method for operating an agricultural harvester (1), wherein the agricultural harvester (1) has an attachment (2), wherein the attachment (2) has a receiving conveyor (7) which is driven at a defined first speed, wherein the attachment (2) has a discharge conveyor (8) which is driven at a defined second speed, wherein the harvester (1) has an infeed unit (4) with infeed rollers (5, 6) which are driven at a defined third speed. The second speed, at which the discharge conveyor (8) is driven, is determined depending on the third speed, at which the infeed rollers (5, 6) are driven, and also depending on the speed of travel of the agricultural harvester (1).

  • Patent number: 11013178
Abstract: Transverse conveyor (10) of an agricultural harvesting machine, with a basic body (13), the axis of rotation of which extends transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of a harvesting vehicle carrying the harvesting machine, and with at least two helical transverse conveyor elements (14a, 14b) which are connected to the basic body (13) and have at least two windings (15a, 15b), wherein the respective transverse conveyor element (14a, 14b) serves for conveying crop from a respective lateral edge portion (16, 18) of the transverse conveyor in the direction of a central portion (17) of the transverse conveyor. According to the invention, a distance between adjacently arranged windings (15a, 15c, 15b, 15d) of the transverse conveyor element (14a, 14c, 14b, 14d) is smaller in the region of the lateral edge portions (16, 18) of the transverse conveyor (10) than in the central portion (17) of the transverse conveyor (10).

  • Patent number: 5096132
Abstract: A supporting and adjusting device for a counter-cutter rail of a field chopper having a cutting element with a partially surrounding bottom, the device comprises a saddle arranged so that the countercutter rail can lie on the saddle, two levers supported outside a surface of the cutting element and adjusting a distance from the saddle to the outer surface of the cutting element, the saddle being fixedly connectable with the countercutter rail and adjustable about a stationary axis extending parallel to a circumference of the cutting elements so that the saddle together with the countercutter rail can be adjusted to be at different distances to the outer surface of the cutting element.
