  • Patent number: 11117560
Abstract: A membrane valve arrangement (1) includes a disc-shaped valve membrane (10) made from an elastic material and a disc (14) having a central opening (15). The valve membrane (10) is arranged with one side on the disc (14) and has a circumferential sealing bead (11) radially outside on the side opposite from the disc. The disc (14) is arranged, along with the valve membrane (10), between a housing upper part (2) and a housing lower part (6) of the membrane valve arrangement (1). The sealing bead (11) is clamped between the housing upper part (2) and the housing lower part (6). The sealing action in the region of the sealing bead is largely independent of tolerances because, on at least one of the housing parts in the region of the sealing bead (11) and/or in the radially outer peripheral region of the disc (14), additional sealing arrangements are present.

  • Publication number: 20180111438
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for measuring height in a vehicle by determining a distance between a vehicle chassis and a vehicle axle or parts connected thereto. In the method, a first device (12) with a first transmitter (13) and a first receiver (14) and a second device (15) with a second transmitter (16) and a second receiver (17) interact. In particular, the first transmitter (13) produces an electromagnetic field, and the second receiver (17) detects the electromagnetic field. The second device (15) with the second transmitter (16) produces a signal from the detected field and transmits the signal, which correlates with the distance from the first transmitter (13) to the second receiver (17). The first device (12) with the first receiver (14) receives the signal. A system, an electronically controlled pneumatic suspension, an electronic control unit, and a vehicle are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8434520
Abstract: A valve control unit, particularly for a pressure modulator of a commercial vehicle includes a valve control housing, solenoid valves, which are provided with solenoids and internal valve pieces inserted into the solenoids, and a pneumatic interface. The solenoids are accommodated inside the valve control housing. Pressure sensors for measuring pneumatic pressures are accommodated in or on the valve control unit, preferably on the top surface. Valve bores, into which the internal valve pieces are inserted, extend within the valve control housing. Air ducts extend between the pneumatic interface, the valve bores, and the pressure sensors, inside the valve control housing. The solenoids and pressure sensors are contacted with an electrical interface. The valve control housing can be a single piece.

  • Patent number: 8006549
Abstract: A device which comprises a sensor and/or actuator and a connector for electrically and mechanically coupling the sensor and/or actuator. The connector comprises an individual electrical conductor having a core made from a first material and having a jacket made from a second material. The first material can have a lower thermal conductivity than the second material.

  • Publication number: 20100064788
Abstract: The invention relates to a device which comprises a sensor or actuator and coupling means for electrically and mechanically coupling the sensor or actuator. The coupling means comprise an electrical single conductor (30) having a core (31) from a first material and a jacket (32) from a second material, the first material having a lower thermal conductivity than the second material.

  • Publication number: 20100038571
Abstract: The invention relates to a valve control unit, particularly for a pressure modulator of a commercial vehicle. Said valve control unit (1) comprises a valve control housing (2), solenoid valves (4, 5, 6) which are provided with solenoids (16) and internal valve pieces (4a, 5a, 6a) inserted into the solenoids (16), and a pneumatic interface (14). The solenoids (16) are accommodated inside the valve control housing (2). Pressure sensors (10) for measuring pneumatic pressures are accommodated in or on the valve control unit, preferably on the top surface. Valve bores (3), into which the internal valve pieces (4a, 5a, 6a) are inserted, extend within the valve control housing (2). Air ducts (12) extend between the pneumatic interface (14), the valve bores (3), and the pressure sensors (10), inside the valve control housing (2). The solenoids (16) and pressure sensors (10) are contacted with an electrical interface (8). Advantageously, the valve control housing (2) is embodied as a single piece.

  • Patent number: 7369023
Abstract: A method for manufacturing magnet armatures which are used mainly in brake-pressure modulators of electronically controlled brake systems and which are provided on their entire surface with a plastic coating, for reasons of dimensional stability and sliding properties. Magnet armatures of this type are constructed as cylindrical members and are usually provided in the region of one of the two end faces with an elastomeric sealing element, which according to the prior art is bonded to the magnet armature by vulcanization, an adhesive elastomer-to-metal bond being formed between the magnet armature and the elastomeric sealing element during vulcanization. Since bonds of this type are not possible for a completely coated magnet armature, the elastomer for the elastomeric sealing element is, according to the invention, vulcanized onto the armature without using an adhesion promoter.
