  • Patent number: 7066212
Abstract: A method for producing tissue with the aid of a weaving loom comprising a stop bar, at least one shed and a heddle for carrying out the method. The inventive method is characterized in that warp thread guiding a filling yarn cooperates with a longitudinal heddle connected to the filling yarn and is arranged between the filling yarn and the stop bar of the weaving loom. The warp thread passes through the filling yarn and a longitudinal heddle controlled by a Jacquard device which carries out normal yarn up-and-down movement (down-and-up). Two superposed wefts which are arranged below and under the shed are simultaneously inserted therein.

  • Patent number: 6918411
Abstract: A method and a device for the production of a ribbon are provided. The method may be performed on a narrow fabric needle loom and may include repeating the following steps: picking a weft thread (4), with (only) one weft needle (1); meshing the weft thread (4), with a catch thread (5), delivered from the side opposite the weft side (weft exit side), by a knitting needle (2) working on the weft exit side; returning the weft needle (1) and wrapping the weft thread (4), with a catch thread (6), delivered from the weft side by a knitting needle working on the weft side. The device may include a narrow fabric needle looms, for production of a ribbon, in particular by the above method. A webbing is also provided that may be produced from the above method.

  • Patent number: 5902843
Abstract: Conventional hot-melt adhesive compositions for the coating of textile sheet structures exhibit problems in respect of resistance to washing and cleaning. The presence of an epoxide in hot-melt adhesive composition enables the production of cleaning-resistant laminated materials having a particularly high level of wash resistance.

  • Patent number: 5668242
Abstract: Polyether esters are employed for the adhesive bonding of textiles since they are resistant to washing and dry cleaning. The polyether esters of the prior art have the disadvantage that they often exhibit poor adhesion with critical outer materials such as, for example, silk. By means of the polyether esters according to the invention, it is possible to bond sensitive textiles effectively at very low temperatures.
