Abstract: An apparatus for wrapping a load carried on a floor-mounted pallet. The apparatus includes a carriage having a wheeled base for rolling movement about the pallet-carried load. The carriage is provded with an upright upstanding from the base and vertically movably supporting a carrier for a roll of wrapping sheet material. A handle structure is provided on the carriage for manipulation of the carriage in effecting the rolling movement about the pallet-carried load and mechanism is provided adjacent the handle for effecting vertical movement of the carrier to permit spiral wrapping of the sheet material about the pallet-carried load. The carrier is arranged to extend downwardly to a lowermost position, permitting wrapping of the pallet substantially at floor level and, in an uppermost position, for wrapping the uppermost portion of the load. The invention further includes improved structure for releasably retaining the sheet material roll on a spindle on the carrier.

Abstract: A fish hook remover having a generally helical extractor portion provided with at least one forwardly opening notch for receiving the bight of a hook being removed from a fish. The tool may include a selectively extensible handle portion. The handle may be provided with longitudinal channels for receiving the line and permitting the user to hold the line taut with the hook bight received in the extractor portion notch. The handle may be further provided with an annular recess at the distal end into which a portion of the line may be wrapped to maintain the taut extension of the line during the extracting operation.

Abstract: Marine structures adapted to be installed in relatively shallow bodies of water, such as for use in storing boats and in defining pier structures. The marine structures are arranged to be stored subjacent the water surface during winter months and more specifically, below the freeze zone of the body of water in which they are placed, thereby to avoid movement of the structures resulting from movement of the ice on the water surface. The structures are selectively positionable in a normal use arrangement and in a retracted storage arrangement, as desired. The marine structures may include boat stations, pier structures, and the like.
