Abstract: An apparatus for cutting tubes includes a counter holder arranged to receive a tube, having at least one cutting tool that is movable to a cutting position on the counter holder during a cutting process, having an ejector that ejects cut-off portions of the tube, wherein the ejector is movable relative to the counter-holder, having a slide that is movable along the counter-holder on which the at least one cutting tool and the ejector are provided, and having a programmable control for freely setting cut-off lengths of tubular sleeves by moving the cutting tool on the slide.

The suction nozzle (1) is provided with two suction openings (7 and 8) arranged approximately perpendicularly relative to each other so that the horizontal suction opening (7) rests on the floor surface (2) to be cleaned while the vertical suction opening (8) is in contact with the vertical surface (3) of the plinth (5). For increasing the cleaning effect, at least one rotating, mechanincally driven brush (5) is provided within the horizontal suction opening (7) and the vertical suction opening (8).

The apparatus has a joint pan connected with an apparatus housing, and a joint head connected with an apparatus connecting piece for a handle of the vacuum cleaner. The joint parts are parts of a joint, especially a tilting joint, and delimit a gap of movement of the joint. At least one of the joint parts is a part which can be detached from the apparatus part respectively associated therewith, which detachable part is provided at least partially with a fiber packing which projects into the gap of movement. The fiber packing includes closely packed fibers which are arranged at least substantially at right angles on an associated supporting surface of the joint part.

Abstract: A plaster additive, especially for use with cement-based dehumidifying plasters which impart to the plaster the property of low resistance to the diffusion of water therethrough, permitting the application to moist or wet masonry and especially masonry subject to continuous moisture exposure, for example by capillary flow from the foundation. The additive according to the invention imparts to the fungus-resistant cement-based plasters the property of dehumidifying the wall while the surface of the plaster remains dry. The additive according to the invention may be used with normal interior or exterior plasters, adhesive plasters and also with thermally insulating plasters that include a thermally insulating filler, for example, styropor spheres.

In order to restrict penetration of hairs and like foreign bodies, picked up by the bristles, into the bearings, the shaft is provided with at least one transverse circumferential depression. A longitudinal groove is provided so that hairs and threads collected on the shaft can be gathered and cut.
