  • Patent number: 6672615
Abstract: So that, given a desired deactivation of an airbag, a triggering cannot take place under any circumstances, a firing device of the airbag is bypassed using an electrically controllable switch. This switch short-circuits the electric circuit of the firing device during the deactivation time.

  • Patent number: 6131456
Abstract: A sensor arrangement for determination of at least one of a position and an acceleration of a moveable body has a housing fixedly connected with the moveable body, an inertia body accommodated in the housing, a detector arranged in the housing for detecting a horizontal displacement of the inertia body, the housing having a base plate on which the detector is arranged so that determination of a vertical displacement of the inertia body is also performed.

  • Patent number: 5903062
Abstract: An electronic device, in particular a safety device, for occupants of a vehicle has a push-pull output element controlled by an astable flip-flop with outputs via decoupling elements. The astable flip-flop and the decoupling elements receive operating voltage over a switching element that switches at a given acceleration threshold.

  • Patent number: 4653450
Abstract: The invention is directed to an arrangement for metering fuel to a spark-ignition internal combustion engine equipped with a fuel injection system. The fuel metering arrangement includes a control apparatus which generates injection pulses for controlling the injection valves, the pulses being generated at least in dependence upon the rotational speed of the engine. In the event of a failure of the control apparatus, control of the injection valves is switched over to injection pulses derived from the ignition system of the engine. In this arrangement, the transfer of control may be accomplished either by pulling the central plug of the control apparatus or by automatic error detection via a speed relay.
