  • Patent number: 4051252
Abstract: 3-Aminoindazoles bearing a carbo(lower alkoxy), lower alkylamide or di(lower alkyl)amide group in the 1-or 2-position and further being optionally substituted in one or more of the 4-, 5-, 6- and/or 7-positions are analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic agents. The compounds, of which 3-amino-6-chloroindazole-1-carboxylic acid ethyl ester is a typical embodiment, are prepared through treatment of the appropriate 3-aminoindazole with a derivative of carbonic acid or through thermal isomerization.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 24, 1975
Date of Patent: September 27, 1977
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Karl Heinrich Mayer, Siegfried Petersen, Erich Klauke, Friedrich Hoffmeister, Wolfgang Wuttke
  • Patent number: 3936447
Abstract: 7-Acylamino-desacetoxy-cephalosporanic acid esters are produced by heating a sulfoxide of 6-acylaminopenicillanic acid ester at a temperature of from about 60.degree.C to about 150.degree.C in the presence of a phenol catalyst. The 7-acylamino-desacetoxy-cephalosporanic acid esters produced are known per se and are useful as intermediates for the preparation of desacetoxy-cephalosporin derivatives which exhibit antibacterial activity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 1974
Date of Patent: February 3, 1976
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Uwe Petersen, Hans-Joachim Kabbe, Siegfried Petersen
  • Patent number: 3932409
Abstract: 2-Phenyl-4(3H)-quinazolones bearing a urethane or thiourethane group on the 2-phenyl substituent, a second urethane or thiourethane group on the benzo ring of the quinazolone nucleus and an alkyl, cycloalkyl or phenyl group in the 3-position are prepared by treating the corresponding bis-amino compound with an acid derivative or the corresponding bis(isocyanate) or bis(isothiocyanate) with an alcohol. The compounds, of which 2-[3'-(methoxycarbonylamino)-phenyl]-3-phenyl-6-methoxycarbonylamino-4-(3H )-quinazolone is a typical embodiment, are cytostatic agents.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 7, 1974
