Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus for transport service are provided. The apparatus may receive a plurality of transport service transactions associated with a point of interest entity. For each transport service transaction, the apparatus may determine a transport service location at which the transport service transaction is executed. The apparatus may cluster the transport service locations determined for the plurality of transport service transactions. The apparatus may determine one or more candidate transport service locations for the point of interest entity based on the clustering. The apparatus may provide the one or more candidate transport service locations to a client or a service provider associated with a transport service transaction that is to be executed at the point of interest entity.

Abstract: An automated computer implemented method of deduplicating point of interest of computer implemented database including: standardizing data of a pair of records, wherein equivalent words with different spelling may be normalized to a single spelling; classifying the pair of records into a category of pre-defined address categories; carrying out a category specific determination of non-duplicate and failing to determine that the pair of records may be a category specific non-duplicate; tokenizing the data of the pair of records into a pair of tokenized records; determining that core words of the pair of records are linked by computing scores of cross information and distance; and determining whether the scores pass a pre-determined threshold. Abstract: An apparatus and method for inferring optimal pick-up/drop-off locations for transport services use historical bookings data associated with past bookings, the past bookings having a pick-up or drop-off location within a defined geographical area. Each historical data instance for a booking includes a geographical data point recorded at a time of a pick-up/drop-off event within the geographical area. The historical data is processed to identify clusters of geographic data points having similar geographical locations. A quality indicator is determined and compared with a first threshold. If the quality indicator satisfies the first threshold, a cluster centroid for each cluster is designated as an optimal pick-up/drop-off location for the geographical area.

The method includes, for each identified geographical area, deriving a service request forecast and service provider forecast for a particular upcoming time period. The method includes, for each identified geographical area, determining whether the geographical area will be in an over-supply state during the particular upcoming time period. The method includes, for each identified geographical area determined to be in the over-supply state during the particular upcoming time period: determining a quantity M of available service providers; selecting at least M available service providers in the geographical area; and providing a notification to only the selected available service providers. Each notification may include a message to move out of the geographical area and into a particular location in another geographical area.
