  • Publication number: 20130178170
Abstract: According to one exemplary embodiment of the invention, a vehicle antenna apparatus is provided on a vehicle in such a way that this results in the antenna having a horizontal main beam direction. A first reflection apparatus above the conductive roof of the vehicle, with an exciter between these two elements, causes the reflections to be doubled, thus causing the main beam direction to be lowered from a vertical to a horizontal direction.

  • Publication number: 20130144484
Abstract: A device for testing a safety and/or driver assistance system of a first vehicle with the participation of at least one second vehicle in the region of a fixedly predefined roadway section in particular in the region of an intersection, wherein the first vehicle and the at least one second vehicle comprise in each case at least one transmitter and/or at least one receiver for the C2X communication in connection with the safety and/or driver assistance system. In order to prevent or to keep to a minimum damages to vehicles and/or injury to persons, the second vehicle is represented by a dummy device that moves in the region of the roadway section, the dummy device having the largest portion of its volume and/or its mass outside the movement of the first vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20130066555
Abstract: A method for transmitting travel route information to a person present outside of a motor vehicle, and to a system for transmitting such information. The method for transmitting travel route information to a person present outside of a motor vehicle provides that a navigation system present in the motor vehicle wirelessly transmits a data stream including the information to be transmitted directly or indirectly to a display device carried by the person. The information to be transmitted can be perceived by the person by the display device.

  • Publication number: 20110140873
Abstract: A system and method for a navigation system for a complex menu-controlled multifunctional vehicle control system. The system has a navigation unit and a man-machine interface which are arranged separately at different locations in the vehicle. Between the two units there is a communication link which is of bidirectional design.

  • Publication number: 20110140926
Abstract: A vehicle key for radio communication with a vehicle. The vehicle key has a radio transmitter for transmitting radio signals to the vehicle. The vehicle key has a radio receiver and/or audio receiver to be able to locate the vehicle within close range. A bidirectional communication with a transceiver of the vehicle is set up by the radio receiver and/or the audio receiver and the radio transmitter. Furthermore, a corresponding method for locating the vehicle by using the vehicle key is described.

  • Patent number: 6856114
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the sensorless electric measurement of the position of a rotor of a permanently excited synchronous machine that is fed by a converter, by means of measuring signals which are sent to an evaluation device that calculates the electric position of the rotor from the angular dependence of the current space vector at an impressed stator flux pattern, wherein the distribution of absolute values of the differential current space vector varies in approximation in sinusoidal manner with twice the value of the electric rotor position angle sought.
