  • Patent number: 5087228
Abstract: A device to oppose a difference in relative rotational velocity between two rotatable shafts includes a set of primary braking elements arranged to rotate with one of the shafts and a set of secondary braking elements arranged to rotate with the other shaft, whereby both sets of braking elements are moved into engagement with one another from a free running position in order to oppose the difference in rotational velocity between the two shafts. One of the shafts carries a rotatable unit having a circular surface which is slightly displaced from a 90 degree angle from the drive shafts. This unit is connected for rotation with one set of the braking elements and is movable sideways relative to the other set of braking elements connected to the other shaft.

  • Patent number: 4569535
Abstract: A device in locks for vehicle safety belts, comprising a channeled frame (16) which is pivoted to a substantially rigid elongate anchoring fitting (12) constructed for attachment to the body of the vehicle. The lock forms an opening for the insertion of a lock tongue. A flat end portion of the anchoring fitting at opposite longitudinal edges thereof forms two projections (21) which are received with play in openings in the side walls of the channeled frame to allow angular adjustment of the lock in relation to the anchoring fitting about an axis substantially parallel to the web of the frame, between a normal position in which the lock is substantially aligned with the anchoring fitting, and another position in which the lock is angled in relation to said normal position. A member (17) is attached to the web of the channeled frame to form an abutment for the end edge of the flat end portion of the anchoring fitting, retaining the projections in the openings.

  • Patent number: 4454634
Abstract: A safety belt buckle fitted with belt straps and two interlocking parts. These are designed for releasably connecting the belt strap. One interlocking part consists of a locked part and the other interlocking part consists of a locking part. The latter is fitted with a locking member pivoted in the locking part and able to be reset between the position releasing and the position locking the locked part. The locking member is spring loaded so as to attempt to pivot to its releasing position. A detent member is able to be reset between a detent position in which the locking member is prevented from being reset from its locking position and a releasing position in which the locking member is permitted to pivot to its releasing position. An ejector is arranged so as to eject the locked part by the action of a spring when the locking member is rest to the locking position. A link connects the detent member to the ejector. The link is loaded by a spring which attempts to move the ejector to its outer position.

  • Patent number: 4347941
Abstract: A pallet collar comprises four walls which are hingedly interconnected by means of hinges, so that the pallet collar may be collapsed or folded up into a substantially flat condition. To increase the utility and versatility of the pallet collar at least one pair of opposite walls are provided with supporting ribs on their inside, which extend substantially parallel to the bottom edge of the respective wall, somewhat above said bottom edge and are intended to carry a removable bottom in cooperation with the supporting rib of the opposite wall. Thanks to these supporting ribs it is possible to convert the pallet collar into a form-stable, open case by placing the bottom upon the ribs.
