Patent number: 11164163Abstract: Embodiments of a transaction processing system are disclosed that can utilize a transaction processing model to process a transaction request through one or more transaction routes. In some embodiments, the transaction process system may obtain information regarding the characteristics of a set of transaction requests, transaction routes utilized to process those transaction requests, and information regarding whether attempts to process those transaction requests were successful. Using this information, the transaction process system may generate a transaction processing model. After generating the transaction processing model, the transaction process system may receive a transaction request. In response, the transaction process system may determine characteristics of the transaction request and may apply those characteristics to the transaction processing model to determine a set of processing routes.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2016Date of Patent: November 2, 2021Assignee: ELECTRONIC ARTS INC.Inventor: Siim Viidu

Patent number: 10460320Abstract: Heterogeneous information networks can be used to detect whether a new transaction is fraudulent. Metapaths are determined based on the heterogeneous information. The transactions can be downsized. For each metapath, training transaction data and test transaction data be used to compute a feature vector “z.” A fraud detection system can use the features to generate a fraud detection model. The fraud detection model can be iteratively refined using machine learning. The fraud detection models can then be applied to new transactions to determine a risk score of the new transaction.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2016Date of Patent: October 29, 2019Assignee: Electronic Arts Inc.Inventors: Bokai Cao, Ming Mao, Siim Viidu
