    Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes measuring changes in impedance at an antenna. The method also includes estimating an amount of power reflected from the antenna based on the measured changes in impedance at the antenna, in order to obtain an estimated amount of radiated power. The method further includes dynamically increasing a transmit power of the UE, based on the estimated amount of radiated power, up to a limit.
