  • Patent number: 11404760
Abstract: An electrical power distribution splitter is designed to receive high wattage electrical power, e.g. 80 W-600 W, and then to “split” that power into multiple low output wattage electrical power, e.g. 60 W/12V or 96 W/24V. An IC and circle board in the distribution splitter is used to reduce output power in this manner. The result is the ability to input a single large wattage electrical power supply to a distribution splitter which then outputs multiple lower wattages to a variety of individual different circuits, and, in so doing, a Class 2 UL power supply can be utilized. This is especially important in the signage industry where, for example, one large wattage power electrical supply feeding into the power distribution splitter can supply multiple smaller wattage power to different circuits in one sign.

  • Publication number: 20210372606
Abstract: An LED module lighting signage system receives electricity from a power supply as well as data from a data processor source, via electrical power and data supply wiring, at least one power/data distributor, and quick connect, plug-in male and female connectors. The distributor has multiple ports which permit wiring to run from a power supply and data processor source to the distributor and from the distributor to multiple LED modules and fixtures, e.g. different channel letters, LED stringlights, etc. All connections between the power source, data processor source, electrical power/data distributor, and the modules or fixtures are accomplished easily by means of male to female quick connect plug-in connectors. In this manner, the power/data distributor can provide electrical power to LED module lighting signage and also transmit data from a data processor source to the signage in a single cohesive system.

The connector is an integral, unitary body having a plate shaped base section with dual lateral tension clips extending down from the base section and an adhesive member which is attached to the bottom surface of the base section. The connector uses a “stick and hold” method to lock itself to the face of a signage frame. The integral body also has a columnar support section having a through channel extending up from the base section to accept an electric lighting module lamp support. An electrical connector section having a front facing cavity containing front facing electrical plugs and at least one lateral cavity containing laterally facing electric plugs also forms a part of the connector's integral body.

  • Publication number: 20210071848
Abstract: An end cap boot has two end cap covers, each having a back wall, a side wall, and an interior pocket extending the length of the back wall and the width of the side wall. The end cap covers are configured to overlay one another, with the distal end of a neon lamp located therebetween, such that the pockets of the end cap covers fully encapsulates the distal end of the neon lamp. The method includes the injection of a glue material through one of the end cap covers, ensuring that the glue material completely fills the interior pockets surrounding the distal end of the lamp, thereby providing a permanent, waterproof seal at the end of the lamp. The end cap boot can be used both for fully enclosing a neon lamp or for enclosing the distal end of a lamp with extending electrical wiring.
