The display device includes a display panel including a glass plate for displaying an image by outputting light, and a polarizing plate attached to both a top surface and a bottom surface of the glass plate for exposing an edge portion of the glass plate, a cover window mounted on the display panel for transmitting the light, an adhesive sheet interposed between the display panel and the cover window and for adhering the cover window at the edge portion of the glass plate. The user terminal can be formed to have a small thickness and size, and light is shielded from being leaked to the outside of the user terminal via an edge portion of the display panel in the user terminal.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display backlight device for reducing a thickness of a terminal is provided. The liquid crystal display backlight device includes a backlight unit disposed at a lower part of a liquid crystal display module, a set bracket for mounting while enclosing the backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display Flexible Printed Circuit Board (FPCB) folded from the liquid crystal display module to a rear surface of the set bracket. Therefore, a thickness and width of the liquid crystal display backlight device can further be reduced and thus a user can easily carry the liquid crystal display backlight device. Further, rigidity of the set bracket can be prevented from being weakened.

Abstract: A polarizer including a polarization film, a first protection film attached to a bottom surface of the polarization film, a second protection film attached to a top surface of the polarization film, and an antiglare film formed on a top surface of the second protection film, is provided. The antiglare film has a haze value in 3 to 5% and an arithmetic mean deviation of the profile (Ra) of 60 to 100 nm.

Abstract: An optical member for transmitting or reflecting light is provided. The optical member includes a base member that transmits or reflects light; and a double rainbow film attached on the base member. Preferably, the double rainbow film has an in-plane phase difference in a range of 8,000 nm to 11,000 nm. When the optical member is used together with a display device, there is little color shift before and during wearing sunglasses and a rainbow-like stain which appears in a conventional display device when wearing sunglasses with a polarizing function may be suppressed.
