    Abstract: A pivotal roof fence unit comprising elongated base members for attachment to a roof surface member extending the entire length of the unit and, at least at both ends of the unit, cross members and buttresses used to support the fence member, and pivotal connecting means for connecting the upper portion to the base members such that the upper portion may be pivoted either forward or backward relative to the long axis of the base members.
