Abstract: For parameterizing a numerical control system, a computing device executes a workflow in which jerk limit values and filter frequencies for position-controlled axes are determined and transmitted to the numerical control system. The computing device first transmits movement commands and receives resulting time curves for the actual position values of the position-controlled axes, on which basis the lowest characteristic frequencies of the position-controlled axes are determined. The position-controlled axes are then sequentially selected, with an operator determining a corresponding jerk limit value and a corresponding filter frequency. Respective lower and upper limits are determined by the computing device. For the first-selected position-controlled axis, the lowest characteristic frequency determines the lower and upper limits.
