  • Publication number: 20210385084
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to monitoring processes. A processor creates a numerical representation of a nominal operation of the process. The processor then encrypts the numerical representation using homomorphic encryption to determine an encrypted numerical representation that blocks access to the numerical representation but allows calculations on the numerical representations. The processor proceeds by creating smart contracts on a blockchain platform using the encrypted numerical representation as a first input to the calculations of the smart contract. Next, the processor attempts execution of the smart contract using the current operation of the process as a second input to the calculations of the smart contract. The execution of the smart contract generates an output result by performing the calculations on the encrypted numerical representations.

  • Patent number: 11111966
Abstract: A synchronizer for mechanical transmissions having a phasing system configured so as to include a plurality of first cavities on an internal cylindrical surface of a rim of a hub, the hub torsionally connected with a transmission shaft, forming the external teeth of the hub and, for each of the first cavities, either a tooth which radially protrudes from an external cylindrical surface of a synchronizing ring of the synchronizer and is arranged to engage in the first cavity, or a connecting pin arranged to engage on one side the first cavity and on the other a respective second cavity on the external cylindrical surface, wherein the first cavities have an arc- or round-shaped cross-section.

  • Publication number: 20210131505
Abstract: The synchronizer may have a hub provided with external teeth. An actuating sleeve may be provided with internal teeth meshing with the external teeth of the hub. At least one synchronizing ring may be provided with external teeth arranged to mesh with the internal teeth of the actuating sleeve and has, on its radially internal side, a friction surface arranged to cooperate with a friction surface associated to a respective gear wheel to allow generation of a friction torque between the synchronizing ring and the associated gear wheel. A pre-synchronization system may have more than two blocking elements operatively placed between the hub and the actuating sleeve. A phasing system may be provided to ensure a given angular positioning of the synchronizing ring with respect to the hub about the longitudinal axis.

  • Publication number: 20100065391
Abstract: The synchronizer comprises: a hub, an actuating sleeve, two synchronizing rings each having a conical surface, two inner rings each having a conical surface, two intermediate rings each having a first radially outer conical surface arranged to be brought into contact with the conical surface of the associated synchronizing ring and a second radially inner conical surface arranged to be brought into contact with the conical surface of the associated inner ring, two engagement ring gears intended to be torsionally coupled each to a respective idle gearwheel. According to the invention, the synchronizer further comprises two spacer rings which are each interposed between the respective engagement ring gear and the respective inner ring and each free to rotate relative to these two components so as to prevent the respective opposite axial surfaces from coming into contact with each other.
