  • Publication number: 20230088752
Abstract: An electronic device may include wireless circuitry. The wireless circuitry may include one or more antenna arrays coupled to baseband processing circuitry by parallel radio-frequency signal (receive) chains. To more efficiently perform beam measurements, and thereby more efficiently determine cell status, beam measurements may be performed by the radio-frequency receive chains in a parallel manner. If desired, beam measurements for one or more inter-frequency and/or intra-frequency layers may each be parallelized. If desired, beam measurements during a discontinuous reception mode of operation may be parallelized.

  • Patent number: 9794023
Abstract: A channelization code analyzer for determining active channelization codes includes a despreading unit configured to despread a received signal with a plurality of candidate channelization codes to generate a plurality of despreaded signals. The channelization code analyzer further includes a detector configured to detect from the plurality of despreaded signals a set of despreaded signals modulated with a predetermined first modulation scheme. A channelization code identification unit is configured to identify at least one active channelization code from the plurality of candidate channelization codes based on the detected set of despreaded signals. Further, a radio receiver apparatus, a second moment and fourth moment processing unit and a modulation scheme detector are described.

  • Patent number: 9698837
Abstract: A communication device is provided comprising a frontend component configured to receive a signal being a combination of an information signal and an interference signal; a first interference removal component configured to reconstruct the interference signal and to subtract the reconstructed interference signal from the received signal to generate a first processed received signal; a second interference removal component configured to equalize the received signal based on channel information of a channel between the device and a sender of the information signal and channel information of a channel between the device and a sender of the interference signal to generate a second processed received signal; and a processor configured to reproduce information contained in the information signal based on the one of the processed received signals or a combination of the processed received signals based a comparison of the first processed received signal and the second processed received signal.
