  • Publication number: 20170273554
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of instruments for imaging internal structures of the human body, and in particular of the eye. More specifically it relates to an optimized process and an optical coherence tomography system thereof to measure the distances between the eye interfaces that is, the corneal surfaces, the surfaces of the crystalline lens, the retina and so on. A tiltable selection means, e.g. a titable mirror, is used to switch between different optical sample paths having different lengths, such that information relative to portions of the sample at different depths can be collected.

  • Publication number: 20120033180
Abstract: An ophthalmic device and method actively correcting possible movement of the eye of a patient with respect to the correct positioning during the examination are described. An illumination light beam is provided, that passes through a cross-section of the anterior chamber of the eye to capture an image on the corneal vertex.

  • Publication number: 20030213897
Abstract: In an infrared-radiation detecting camera the following are provided: an optical path with at least one collimator (5) and one scanning mirror (7); infrared-radiation detecting means (11); and at least one temperature reference with a radiating surface (31A) at a controlled temperature. The temperature reference comprises a reflecting prism (17) which receives a radiation emitted by the radiating surface and reflects it in the optical path towards the detecting means (11).

  • Patent number: 6377398
Abstract: A panoramic telescope of the type having a body 3 to be mounted on a vehicle, a head-piece 9 attached to the body and rotating with respect thereto. A window 11 is provided for observing the external scenery. Inside the head-piece is a mirror 13 for deflecting the incoming beam from the window towards an optical detector.

  • Patent number: 6339497
Abstract: A panoramic periscope includes a central body (3, 3A) and a rotating head-piece (9) supported on the central body. Inside the central body, an optical path (21, 23, 101, 105, 109, 111, 113) for an optical beam (F,) coming from the head-piece (9) is provided. A viewing module (17) receives the optical beam, for observing the external scenery. A laser telemeter (19) is provided and, along the optical path, a separator element (10S) with an inner dichroic surface (105A) is passed through by the optical beam coming from the head-piece (9). The inner dichroic surface (105A) separates a laser beam coming from the head-piece (9) and deviating it towards a separate optical path (107) which conveys the laser beam towards the laser telemeter (19). The separator element (105) has an entry surface (105I) and an exit surface (105U) which are parallel with one another and passed through by the optical beam (FV), the surfaces being perpendicular to the optical beam (FV).

Abstract: An infrared image sensor, in particular one of the interlaced parallel scanning type, is described. The infrared image sensor has an optical focusing system for focusing an image on a matrix of sensitive elements (55) for the detection of the image. A collimator unit (5) forms a focal plane. The collimator unit is disposed at the entry of the sensor. At least one thermal reference (33), whose image is projected on the matrix (55), is disposed on the optical path of the image inside the sensor.
