Abstract: An improved vacuum cleaner apparatus having at least three stages of dust collection with a path partially submerged in water and provided with a separation labyrinth. The apparatus is subdivided into two parts, an upper one which includes the support body of a suction motor unit, and a lower one which includes the labyrinth. The lower one provides an intermediate washable filter. The support body is housed in an opening coated by an acoustic insulating material.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner having a suction path at least partially submerged in a container of water is subdivided into two parts. An upper part supports a suction motor assembly, and a lower part includes a container of water engaged perimetrically by hooking means to the upper part, and a tubular jacket inside the container partially immersed in the water, so that an annular interspace is formed between respective side facing walls. The interspace forms a siphon to allow suction motor means to draw air and/or liquid from the outside. Also included is a perforated separating diaphragm submerged in the water, and a first removable funnel shaped deflector means placed in an almost suspended position inside the tubular jacket above the water level.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner having a novel filter apparatus is disclosed. The vacuum cleaner includes a body for the support of a suction group and a container for holding a quantity of water and a filter assembly, a portion of which is submerged in the water. The filter assembly consists of a first filter and a second filter. The first filter is composed of an air distributor that is at least partially submerged in the water. The second filter, being fixed above and in proximity to the first filter, is formed from process vegetable and/or animal fibers.
