  • Patent number: 10590670
Abstract: A dissipator for interfacing between the ground and supporting structures, which comprises a supporting base that can be fixed to the ground and supports a contact base that can be associated, by way of kinematic connection elements, with a supporting structure, interface elements being provided between the contact base and the supporting base and being adapted to allow the movement of the contact base with respect to the supporting base at least along two directions that are parallel to the ground, control elements being further provided which act between the supporting base and the contact base and are adapted to control the relative movement between the supporting base and the contact base; the dissipator comprises at least one rod-like dissipation body that acts between the ground and the supporting structure, the rod-like dissipation body having at least partially a behavior of the dissipative type.

  • Publication number: 20060231232
Abstract: An evaluation method in which a capacitive sensor is placed in a region of a container, into which a granular material is fed so as to contact the sensor, and the variation in the impedance of the sensor caused by feeding in the material is evaluated. The method is particularly useful for evaluating the compactness of sand in a formwork for making metal castings. The evaluation system includes a sensor defined by plates sensitive to the variation in the dielectric; and a conditioning and control circuit for indicating the variation in the capacitance of the plates, or more generally the total impedance of the system, when the granular material is fed into the container. In one embodiment, the plates of the sensor are defined by two combs made of conducting material, having two numbers of interlacing segments, and located on a rigid or flexible support.
