Abstract: A system for coating profiles comprises several treatment stations for treating the profiles, including at least one coating station for coating the profiles, the station being equipped with spray guns for dispensing the electrostatically charged powder coating. The system further comprises first detection means for detecting first data concerning the dimensions and shape of said profiles, first storage media for storing second data concerning said powder coating, which shall be used for coating said profiles, second storage media for storing third data concerning a set of sample profiles, and comparison means for comparing said first, second and third data so as to generate commands adapted to vary the operating parameters for said guns.

Abstract: The device for varnishing metallic elements (1) comprises support means of the metallic elements (1) to be varnished through powdered varnish and dispensing means of the powdered varnish through a screen printing plate (5), foreseeing rotation means (6) of the screen printing plate about a rotation axis and translation means (7) of the rotation means (6) to give said screen printing plate (5) a roto-translation motion with respect to the metallic elements (1) to be varnished. The process for varnishing metallic elements through powdered varnish consists of keeping each metallic element in suspended position during the deposition on one or more of its faces of at least one layer of powdered varnish after having been made to pass through a screen printing plate.

Abstract: An article to be powder painted is suspended from an overhead conveyor and moved continuously along a horizontal transport path through at least one first and at least one second painting stations and respective first and second baking stations. Downstream of the second painting station(s) the article is brushed or rolled to impart texture to the second coat of paint, which differs in some respect from the first coat applied in the first station. The article is suspended so it can rotate about a vertical axis and is rotated through 90° between succeeding painting stations.

Abstract: The rolling matrix for a powder coating system roller comprises at least one elastic layer presenting a plurality of ridges and depressions adapted to reproduce a decorative pattern on the surface of a product, and an elastic substrate supporting the layer, said substrate having basically the same elastic deformability as the layer in a direction parallel to their lying plane, and elastic deformability higher than that of the layer in the orthogonal direction to their lying plane.
