  • Patent number: 9450459
Abstract: A pole shoe element for an electrical machine is described. The electrical machine has a stator, a rotor and an air gap between the stator and the rotor. The pole shoe element contains a magnet receiving section which extends in a longitudinal direction of the pole shoe element, in which the pole shoe element in a peripheral direction of the rotor has a first width in a first radial inner position and in the peripheral direction has a second width in a second radial outer position. The second width is smaller than the first width.

  • Patent number: 9287740
Abstract: A pole shoe arrangement for a rotor or a stator of an electrical machine having an air gap between the stator and the rotor is disclosed. The pole shoe arrangement has a pole shoe element having an inner end and an outer end opposing the inner end. The inner end lies opposite the air gap when the pole shoe element is in an assembled state. The pole shoe element has a receiving surface for receiving a permanent magnet between the inner end and the outer end. The pole shoe arrangement has a guiding facility to guide the permanent magnet in a radial direction from the outer end to the inner end and to limit a movement of the permanent magnet at right angles to the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20150256039
Abstract: An outer structure of a generator is provided. A generator includes a rotor and a stator, whereby the generator is a radial flux electrical machine. An outer part of the generator is the stator or the rotor, whereby the outer part of the generator includes a support structure. The support structure is modular and the modules are arranged in rows. The modules are arranged in a staggered manner, so that a module in a first row of modules is connected to two modules of a second row abutting on the first row.

  • Patent number: 8916984
Abstract: A wind turbine including at least one generator is disclosed. The generator includes a stator with two sets of stator windings. The first set of stator windings is connected to a first electrical converter unit by a first cable connection and the second set of stator windings is connected to a second electrical converter unit by a second cable connection. The first cable connection is guided from the respective set of stator windings in the region of the side facing the drive end of the wind turbine and the second cable connection is guided from the respective set of stator windings in the region of the side facing the non-drive end of the wind turbine.

  • Publication number: 20140110948
Abstract: An Nd—Fe—B permanent magnet is disclosed. The Nd—Fe—B permanent magnet includes 28-34 weight % of rare earth elements, where the content of Dy is smaller than 0.1 weight % and the Nd—Fe—B permanent magnet has a spatial extension parallel to a magnetization direction of the Nd—Fe—B permanent magnet which is larger than 30 mm. Further described is a rotor assembly for an electro-mechanical transducer. The rotor assembly includes at least one of such an Nd—Fe—B permanent magnet. Further described is an electromechanical transducer including such a rotor assembly and a wind turbine including said electromechanical transducer.
