    Abstract: The application discloses an array substrate and a mother-board for array substrates. The array substrate includes a display area and a non-display area on a periphery of the display area. The non-display area is provided with an interface area. The array substrate includes: multiple signal lines extending in the display area and leading to the non-display area; multiple pads located in the interface Area, and each of the multiple pads is connected to a corresponding one of the multiple signal lines; and a short-circuiting component located in the non-display area, wherein the short-circuiting component is connected with the multiple pads, the multiple signal lines connected with the pads are short-circuited, and the short-circuiting component includes a patterned first metal structure. The array substrate according to embodiments of the present application can avoid problems caused by static electricity, such as, electrostatic damage or product defects.

    Abstract: A pair of LED tubes are mounted in parallel in a conventional fluorescent light fixture having therein a standard fluorescent lamp ballast. As to each tube, a power line is input to a first end of the tube. Therein, a pair of reversed diodes receive the AC voltage and current. The high-frequency voltage output from the ballast is changed by the diodes into a DC voltage and current. A capacitor in parallel stabilizes the DC voltage and current making the power to the LED tube constant, and then by predetermined design a ratio of series and parallel connections of the LED retrofit lamp chips achieve the required power value and output. The passed DC current enters a pair of reversed diodes that allow the current to exit into the ballast.

    Abstract: A system and method to evaluate the affinity of a collection of sale items to a user's interests. The affinity is a measure of how closely a user's interests match the contents of a collection (e.g., a collection of items selected by a seller, other user, or employee of the sales site). The method may determine the affinity of various collections by using a vector-space distance measure between the user's categories of interest and the relative percentages of various categories of items in each collection's. The method may also add a quality score for the collection to the affinity score and/or a random value to ensure that the system recommends high quality collections does not recommend the same set of collections every time the user logs in or visits the sales site.
