    Abstract: Topical compositions and methods of use to treat symptoms of reduced skin elasticity are provided comprising desthiobiotin and certain desthiobiotin analogues. These compounds are effective in stimulating LOXL-1 activity and can thus increase elastin remodeling and improve appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin sagging and other symptoms of reduced elastin function.
