  • Patent number: 11091011
Abstract: A keyfob has an electronic controller, a plurality of command inputs, a keyfob antenna and a feedback device. The plurality of command inputs, the keyfob antenna and the feedback device are in electronic communication with the controller. The controller is configured to send signals to a vehicle door lock system in response to operation one or more of the plurality of command inputs that instruct the vehicle door lock system to switch at least one door between a locked state and an unlocked state. The controller is further configured to enter a diagnostic mode in response to a predetermined operation of the plurality of command inputs such that in the diagnostic mode the keyfob operates as a diagnostic tool that detects an operating state of at least one of the keyfob and the vehicle door lock system.

  • Patent number: 10785308
Abstract: A vehicle device operating parameter setting system includes a controller connected to at least one vehicle device. The controller is configured to count repetitions of usage of the at least one vehicle device by a first vehicle operator using parameters that differ from the previously saved parameter settings and determine whether the repetitions of the usage of the vehicle device by the first vehicle operator exceed a predetermined number. In response to the repetitions exceeding the predetermined number, the controller automatically operates an information providing device providing the first vehicle operator with a plurality of parameter settings of the at least one vehicle device. The controller is further configured to save a selected one of the plurality of parameter settings in response to the first vehicle operator selecting the one of the plurality of parameter settings, thereby replacing the previously saved parameter setting.

  • Patent number: 10434826
Abstract: A vehicle tire monitoring system has an electronic controller in electronic communication with a rotation sensor, an input device and a signaling device. The electronic controller is configured to do at least the following. In response to the input device receiving a request to orient a valve stem of a tire with low air pressure to a predetermined orientation, the electronic controller determines that the valve stem is not currently in the predetermined orientation. The electronic controller operates the signaling device to provide a first signal to a vehicle passenger and/or the vehicle operator. Further, in response to receiving the request to orient the valve stem to the predetermined orientation and determining that the valve stem is currently in the predetermined orientation, the electronic controller operates the signaling device to provide a second signal indicating the need to rotate the tire to bring the valve stem to the predetermined orientation.
