  • Publication number: 20260225495
Abstract: A thermal management system for a vehicle is provided. The system includes sensors measuring a heat flux and/or temperature of a first group of components of the vehicle, with at least one component of the first group of components generating heat. The system includes sensors measuring a heat flux and/or a temperature of a second group of components of the vehicle. The system includes a thermal system interconnected between the groups of components. A processing device acquires sensor data from the sensors indicative of the heat flux and/or temperature of the first group of components of the vehicle, and acquires sensor data from the sensors indicative of the heat flux and/or the temperature of the second group of components of the vehicle. Based on the sensor data, the processing device determines how the heat generated by the at least one component of the first group of components should be treated.

  • Publication number: 20260159090
Abstract: A system for incapacitated driver detection is provided. The system includes at least one sensor configured to be located on a vehicle. The at least one sensor includes a field-of-view directed outward away from the vehicle. The system includes a processing device in communication with the at least one sensor and configured to execute instructions stored in a memory to perform operations including detecting a secondary vehicle located around or proximate the vehicle. The operations include determining if a driver of the secondary vehicle is incapacitated based on detection of at least one of a driver characteristic associated with the driver, or a vehicle characteristic associated with the secondary vehicle. If the driver of the secondary vehicle is determined to be incapacitated, the operations include adjusting operation of the vehicle into a safety operation mode.

  • Publication number: 20260125061
Abstract: In one aspect, the disclosed method for determining a right-of-way at an intersection includes receiving, from one or more sensors associated with an autonomous vehicle, an indication that the autonomous vehicle is approaching an intersection. The disclosed method may further include transmitting, in response to the indication, a first set of data associated with a position of the autonomous vehicle relative to the intersection and receiving a second set of data from one or more other vehicles. The second set of data may be associated with one or more positions of the one or more other vehicles relative to the intersection. The disclosed method may further include determining an order based on the first set of data and the second set of data. The order may include the autonomous vehicle and the one or more other vehicles, which may be associated with a status.

  • Publication number: 20260001227
Abstract: A method of repositioning a sensor package mounted to an autonomous vehicle cabin and communicatively coupled to a computing system of the autonomous vehicle by a cable includes determining that a trailer has been attached to the cabin and removing the sensor package from the cabin with a repositioning device after determining that the trailer has been attached to the cabin. The method also involves moving the sensor package to a rear of the trailer with the repositioning device, positioning the sensor package on the rear of the trailer, and securing the sensor package on the trailer using a retainer. A repositionable sensor system for an autonomous vehicle is also provided that includes a sensor package and a repositioning device. The repositioning device removes the sensor package, moves the sensor package to a rear of the trailer, and positions the sensor package on the trailer.

  • Publication number: 20250284775
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for optimizing a clustering of a plurality of input data. The method includes: providing a plurality of input data of a manufacturing component to be inspected; extracting at least one feature from the plurality of input data by applying an extraction algorithm; clustering the plurality of input data on the basis of the at least one feature by applying a clustering algorithm; evaluating clusters of the clustered plurality of input data by applying a cluster evaluation algorithm; sorting out, from the plurality of input data, input data that are assigned to at least one cluster with a high rating and/or that exceed a predetermined limit number of input data within the at least one cluster with the high rating; and repeating iteratively certain steps until the plurality of input data is completely clustered and/or evaluated, and/or until a predetermined termination criterion is reached.

  • Publication number: 20250155853
Abstract: A method is for providing a process parameter model for parameterizing one or more process steps of a production process for manufacturing a component includes providing a quality model for determining a quality. The quality model is configured to specify the quality of the resulting component directly or with the aid of a predefined quality function based on one or more predefined measurement variables and/or one or more predefined state variables, which each specify a property of a pre-product or intermediate product of the component being manufactured and/or a production device for performing a process step and/or at least one environmental condition, and based on one or more process parameters which control a corresponding one of the process steps. The method further includes training a data-based process parameter model to output one or more process parameters based on one or more measurement variables captured by a sensor.
