  • Patent number: 11428130
Abstract: A pressure-limiting valve for use in a gas line conveying a gas that includes aerosols. The pressure-limiting valve has a movable valve body, a valve seat, and a compressible coalescing medium placed therebetween. The valve body has passages and nozzle openings and the valve seat has through-holes. In the closed position, the valve functions in separator mode and in the fully open position, in impactor mode. The pressure-limiting valve according to the invention provides a more sensitive response to varying flow conditions, due to deviating surface profiles of the valve seat and coalescing medium, which provide intermediate stages of separator and impactor modes as a function of the volume of flow.

  • Patent number: 11117754
Abstract: The invention includes a method (100) and an apparatus to handle irregularly conveyed and/or irregularly aligned and/or non-upright articles of an article stream under prevention of disturbances. The method (100) comprises the following steps: identifying at least one non-upright article in an article stream as an error; performing a correction step to resolve the error, the correction step comprising removal from the article stream of the at least one irregularly aligned article, or transfer to an upright orientation of the at least one irregularly aligned article, with a defined action being exerted temporally before and/or in temporal overlap with the correction step upon the at least one irregularly aligned article or upon regularly conveyed articles of the article stream.

  • Publication number: 20140208967
Abstract: A method for controlling at least one control parameter from a number of parameters of an inking unit of a printing press is disclosed. Based on at least the control parameter, a value of an ink density on a substrate to be printed by the printing press is calculated by an inking unit model and the calculated value is used as input quantity for controlling instead of an actual value. Here, the calculated value is exclusively calculated based on a number of parameters of the inking unit at least at times.

  • Patent number: 5787744
Abstract: A vandal-resistant torque sensitive release mechanism is disclosed for coupling and decoupling an actuating handle to a lock mechanism. The torque sensitive release mechanism is disclosed is in the form of a slip-clutch, with the rotational movement of the slip clutch being limited when excessive force is applied to prevent the actuating handle from moving to a position where it would interfere with the subsequent desired opening of the door.

  • Patent number: 5730014
Abstract: A vandal-resistant torque sensitive release mechanism for coupling an actuating handle to a lock mechanism. The torque sensitive release mechanism: is in the form of a slip-clutch, which utilizes spherical ball connectors in cooperating detents; is connected at one end to the operating handle via threaded engagement; and permits an adjustment of the disengagement force. A conventional type connection is provided at the other end of the slip clutch to allow a mutiplicty of different lock connections for coupling the handle operating to the operating lock mechanisms via the slip clutch.
