  • Patent number: 12509142
Abstract: An electromechanical steering system comprises a steering shaft, with a magnetic torque sensor device for measuring a torque applied to the steering shaft and with a shielding element. The steering shaft comprises an input shaft which can be rotationally fixedly connected to a steering handle and penetrates through the shielding element, and an output shaft which is connected to the input shaft via a twistable torsion bar. The torque sensor device comprises a multipole magnetic ring rotationally fixedly connected to the input shaft, a stator ring element rotationally fixedly connected to the output shaft and surrounding the magnetic ring, a magnetic flux collector and a sensor for detecting a magnetic flux density. The shielding element is arranged following the magnetic ring, the shielding element covering the surface of the magnetic ring and the stator ring element with respect to the steering handle.

  • Patent number: 12152916
Abstract: A steering system for a motor vehicle having a rotation sensor may include a magnetic element that is attached to a steering shaft and is rotatable with the latter about an axis, two stator elements that are arranged fixed coaxially relative to the steering shaft. The stator elements may be spaced apart axially from one another and may be operatively connected to at least one sensor element via two flux conductors. A flux conductor in each case has a collecting portion, a connecting portion, and a compensator portion. The collecting portion is connected to a stator element and is connected to the compensator portion via a connecting portion. The sensor element may be arranged between the two flux conductors. The compensator portion may have a compensator surface that is smaller than or equal to a collecting surface of the collecting portion.

  • Publication number: 20240369380
Abstract: A flux collection element of a collector unit of a magnetic position sensor and a method of producing the flux collection element, wherein the flux collection element comprises a first collection zone in a first plane and a second collection zone in a second plane, and wherein there is a connection between the first collection zone and the second collection zone via a magnetically conductive connection portion between a first attachment edge of the first collection zone and a second attachment edge of the second collection zone. In particular so that the flux collection element can thus be handled as a bulk product, the connection between the first collection zone and the second collection zone is mechanically stiffened, in particular by the introduction of a bead to be used in an electromechanical steering system in which a torque acting on a steering shaft of the steering system is detected by means of such a magnetic position sensor.
