    Abstract: A method for electronic commerce management is provided. The method includes sending a request to the test server to be assigned a session identifier, the session identifier being associated with an assigned content version and receive the session identifier from the test server. The method further includes generating web page data to send to the client program, the web page data including (1) computer code which upon execution will cause the client program to retrieve the assigned content version of the static content from the test server using the session identifier, and (2) dynamic web page content based on one or more dynamic content factors and send the web page data to the client program.

    Abstract: A method for managing a promotional campaign in an electronic commerce system is provided. The method comprises, at an electronic commerce server receiving a virtual coupon use request including a multiple-user virtual coupon code from the user of the client program executed on a client device, detecting a distinguishing identifier associated with the virtual coupon use request from the user of the client program, determining eligibility criteria and at least one virtual coupon benefit corresponding to the virtual coupon code. The method further comprises at the electronic commerce server determining if the user of the client program from which the virtual coupon code was received is eligible to receive the virtual coupon benefit based on the distinguishing identifier and the eligibility criteria and if the user of the client program is eligible, providing the virtual coupon benefit to the user of the client program.

In one embodiment, the electronic commerce system comprises a storefront server system configured to serve a virtual storefront over a computer network for display on each of a plurality of client devices, a data store in which virtual storefront data for serving the virtual storefront is stored, a staging server system configured to receive one or more change sets from a user of a commerce manager client, the change set comprising changes to the one or more objects. The system further comprises and a synchronization program configured to generate a job description comprising one or more instructions to effect the one or more changes and a production server system configured to receive the job description via the synchronization program and modify the virtual storefront data to reflect the job description and the one or more change sets.
